I know the ‘I don’t need signs to tell me we’ve got a good thing’ comments are coming and of course, that’s partly true. However, I’ll be the first person to admit that I’ve been caught up in close-to-love affairs, where I felt like this should or could be the perfect relationship at the time but there was just that little something extra that was missing.
It wasn’t until I became one half of a ‘really fucking great’ relationship that I realised how truly far from great all of the others were.
1. You unconsciously gain a kind of smug ‘we’re so lucky and better than other couples’ feeling
2. You’ll try and spend all of your free time together and it’ll never get boring
